Congratulations to our Year 7–10 Girls, who were crowned Peak Jam Champions! After losing just one pool game, the team powered through the finals with impressive victories over Ormeau in the quarter final and Emmaus in the semi final.
Heading into the Grand Final full of confidence, the girls delivered a sensational performance. Taking a 14-point lead into half-time, they maintained their intensity and teamwork to finish with a 20-point victory, securing their first tournament title of the year!🏆
Their success is a reflection of the dedication, resilience and teamwork they have shown throughout the season. The countless early morning training sessions and commitment to improving together truly paid off, and we couldn't be prouder of this outstanding achievement.
👏 Our Year 7/8 Boys and Year 9/10 Boys also represented Chisholm with pride, battling their way to the quarter finals in a highly competitive tournament featuring schools from across the region. Despite narrowly missing out on progressing further, both teams played with determination, grit and outstanding sportsmanship, leaving everything on the court.
A heartfelt thank you to our coaches Mr Ethan Allen, Mr Mathew Ellis and Mr Jordan Day, together with our support staff Miss Abigail Vergunst and Mr Zac Dunfee-Scott, for their dedication, encouragement and commitment to our students throughout the tournament.
