Senior School

The senior school journey for our students begins in Year 10. During that year our students begin to make subject selections which are indicative of their likely pathways in Years 11 and 12 and beyond, based on their career aspirations.

To assist with this process, we run a very successful Careers Week during which time our students’ employment skills are further developed and detailed information about our Year 11 and 12 subject offerings is made available.

Senior Subject Choices at Chisholm Catholic College

Chisholm Catholic College offers a wide variety of options for our students to ensure that each individual is able to pursue a pathway which is relevant to their career choices as well as their interests and abilities.

In making their choices, students may select a pathway which leads to tertiary study or one which may include a significant number of vocational educational certificate courses. We provide our students with the flexibility to be able to undertake an ATAR pathway, certificate courses and also have access to school-based apprenticeships and traineeships.
