The practical component of the subject involves training sessions 8 times a fortnight during school time with the head coach of the football academy. The academy philosophy will be followed for the junior players combined with an emphasis on football specific technical sessions, there will not be a focus on strength and conditioning until their growth spurt is complete.
Theory lessons are done twice a fortnight covering topics such as nutrition, football conditioning, performance analysis, player scouting and recruitment.
The academy philosophy will be followed for the senior players combined with an emphasis on football strength and conditioning both in the state of the art gym facility and field based programs.
Theory lessons are done once a fortnight where the students work towards completing the Certificate III in Fitness.
