Ski Trip

The Chisholm Ski Trip occurs every two years at the College and is available to those students in Years 11 and 12.

In the second week of the June/July holidays, every second year, an enthusiastic group of students and dedicated staff fly out for Queenstown, New Zealand.  Those involved are accommodated at a variety of hotels in Queenstown, depending on the cost in any given year.  We have stayed at The Mercure, Rydges and the Swiss Bel Hotel.  The hotels provide three to four star accommodations which include buffet breakfasts and dinners each day.

Students will ski on two separate mountains - Coronet Peak and The Remarkables Ski Field.  They are provided with all their required ski gear as well as lessons and lift passes.  There is a rest day which allows students to explore Queensland and finish the day by cathcing the Skyline Gondola to the top of the mountains above the town to watch the sunset, relax with coffee or hot chocolate.

This trip will allow the students to experience significant personal growth, developing independence by taking responsbility for themselves, their finances and their organisation.

This trip is extremely popular and the College encourages students to consider their desire to participate in advance to avoide missing out.
